The Now of Never Moment Junior Year The Now or Never Moment Book 3 eBook Katie Kaleski Reviews
The author does a very good job in making the story, though heavily narrated by Tanner, about two people. Through the snippets with Shelby and her new friends, we see her regret in not having realized she loved Tanner but through Tanner, we see how Shelby actually fought loving him. She never liked any girl he was with and was so disapproving of his sex life, it would have to be considered jealousy. But fight it she did.
The moment at the lake was especially telling, with her giving a little I love you but not LOVE you, while not being able to resist touching him, and then poor Tanner having to prove to himself that just because the love of his life doesn't return his desire for her, other girls will.
And while Shelby might not have liked Dana, I do. She's forthright and really cares about him. The author gave her just enough negatives too to still make readers continue to root for Shelby to come to her senses.
Interesting that she's dreading reading Senior Year. I wonder what happened then.
